The purpose of the Jersey Shore Area Chamber of Commerce is to support the business community in the Jersey Shore area and assist in promoting the goals and objectives of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.

The Jersey Shore Area Chamber supports the community and local business through a variety of activities:
- General meetings are open to all Jersey Shore Area Chamber members to attend. The “lunch & learn” programs occasionally replace a general meeting to include a tour of a local establishment and/or learn about a business in the area.
- Continually expanding our partnerships within the community that support the Jersey Shore River Town Initiative as well as Borough and Recreation Board sponsored activities.
- Support on a case-by-case basis special requests that would enhance the Jersey Shore business community.
- Promote member events involving the business community, which are held throughout the greater Jersey Shore area.
- Hold annual Summer and Winter events hosted at a Chamber member location and enjoyed by all!
- The Jersey Shore Area Chamber awards $800 in scholarship money to the three winners of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) essay contest. The participants are students from the Jersey Shore Area School District.
