The Industrial Properties Corporation (IPC) is the Chamber’s Economic Development division of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce. This division is responsible for coordinating the retention efforts of our existing industry while also positioning Lycoming County for new development opportunities.
In 1941, the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce formed the Industrial Properties Corporation, a 501 c6 organization, which is composed of local business and community leaders, to coordinate economic development activities and initiatives in Lycoming County. The IPC activities are governed by a separate Board of Directors who are nominated by a Nominations Committee of the IPC and then ratified by the Board of Directors of the Chamber who act as the membership of the corporation.
